 The Great Drumtochty Challenge is a one day mountain bike orienteering competition which was started in 1998 by the Brechin Cycle Club.
We have now completed twelve very successful events and are looking forward to our thirteenth in 2010. The event has gained a following among mountain bikers from all over Scotland.
The event is based on the tried and tested "Polaris" format and as such we would like to thank all the Polaris team for inspiring this event.

The start point is approximately 1 mile inside Fetteresso Forest at an old quarry site. Access is gained through the Hill of Quithel entrance, which is 5 miles off the A90 directly north of Drumlithie.
